The City of Alexandria's Children, Youth & Families Collaborative Commission is seeking nominations for the 2025 Champion of Children Award! The submission deadline for nominations is Friday, April 11. The awards reception will be held on Wednesday, June 11 at the Del Pepper Community Resource Center (4850 Mark Center Drive). Visit alexandriava.gov/DCHS for complete details, eligibility and the nomination form.

Award categories are based on the three goals of the Children and Youth Community Plan:

  • Health and Safety
  • Academic Success and Career Readiness
  • Positive Experiences
