Event Highlights  

  • Explore full and part-time opportunities for both sworn officers and professional staff members. 
  • Discover the diverse units of APD and learn about potential upward mobility within the department. 
  • Gain insights into the Police Academy experience and what it takes to succeed. 
  • Ask questions and hear directly from APD officers who will be available to provide answers and guidance. 

Event Schedule 

First there will be a department tour from 2 to 4 p.m. followed by a panel discussion with Tina Laguna, the assistant chief of police for APD from 4 to 5 p.m.  

The event will be held at APD Police Headquarters (3066 Wheeler Ave.).
