REMINDER: City of Alexandria to Host Second Informational Session on Possible Leaf Blower Regulation – March 26
The City of Alexandria will host the second of two hybrid community meetings to share information on options to regulate the use of gas-powered leaf blowers in the city on Wednesday, March 26, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall Sister Cities.
City staff will give a presentation to provide an overview of the proposed regulation, its anticipated impact, and proposed timeline for implementation. Staff will also be available to answer questions about what residents can expect.
Regulation changes can help reduce noise and air pollution and aim to limit noise concerns from residents.
The March 26 meeting will provide information on the potential regulation changes for gas-powered leaf blowers with further discussion on the impacts on landscape companies and large property owners. Attend virtually using the following link:
